Por los parques se hace lo que se hace normalmente; pasean perros y ancianos, los niños juegan, algunos hacen deporte, y otros solo miran...

Sólo que en estas condiciones los perros escarban en la nieve, los niños juegan con trineos, y los deportistas hacen esquí de fondo en la pista de atletismo.

Adaptación.

Only that in such conditions, dogs seek among the snow, kids play with sleds, and the sporty ones do cross country skiing on the running tracks.

Suerte es la que tuvimos al aparecer por el puerto justo unos minutos antes de que todas éstas bellezas comenzaran su travesía. Aunque mejor que yo, y mucho antes, las fotografió un señor local que se llama Kari Hakli, cuyo libro-colección de fotos de Helsinki 1967-1977 ya obra en mi poder. Y es una delicia (y produce bastante envidia...)

We were really lucky to show up at the harbour a few minutes before all these beauties started their journey. But some local lad named Kari Hakli took pictures of all these, way better than me. His book-collection of photographs from Helsinki 1967-1977 is in my hnsd already, it's amazing, and makes me intensely envious of his talent...

The Frozen Pool

Una chica del Norte que ahora vive en el Sur hizo hace unos años un disco con éste título, parece ser que sobre sentimientos congelados y calores apagados.

Yo solo pienso que dentro de unos meses estaré nadando en éste mismo lugar, y todo será cálido.

A girl from the North who now lives in the South wrote a record with this title, aparently about frozen feelings and faded heat.

I only think that in a few months time I'll be swimming in this very same place, and everything will be nice and warm.
